Helsinki Central Park is an expanse of green forest nearly ten kilometers long that stretches the length of Helsinki from south to north, beginning near the city center in Laksu and ending at the northern border of the city in Haltala. The park includes a number of distinctive recreational facilities, such as walking paths that spread between flower gardens, in addition to a number of restaurants, cafes and areas designated for children's games.
